GREAT NECK, NY (Oct. 25, 2022) — To support Hurricane Ian relief efforts in the Southeast United States, First Quality is donating $100,000 to the American Red Cross.

“With help from our partners, the American Red Cross is working around the clock to provide food, shelter and comfort for people facing the heartbreaking devastation left behind by Hurricane Ian,” said Mary J. Barneby, regional chief executive officer of American Red Cross Greater New York Region. “First Quality’s support will help ensure that no one faces this difficult time alone.”

First Quality has a longstanding partnership with the American Red Cross, having supported disaster relief efforts for Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria in 2017. The company also supported Red Cross relief efforts for Afghanistan evacuees to the U.S. in 2021. First Quality’s six U.S.-based manufacturing facilities partner regularly with the Red Cross to provide product donations for their local communities in times of need.

“As communities in the Southeast face this challenging time, we are grateful for the American Red Cross,” said Jim Dodge, chief financial officer of First Quality. “Our heartfelt thoughts remain with everyone in need of assistance, and we thank the Red Cross for their tireless commitment to serving others.”
