Senior Converting Controls Engineer
Location: Anderson, South Carolina
We are looking for an experienced Senior Converting Controls Engineer for our brand new, state-of-the-art Consumer Tissue Product Mill to be constructed in Anderson, SC. This candidate will specify, design and implement complex control systems and software programming on production equipment and associated machinery. They will provide training and assist Control Technicians in solving complex problems and supervise or provide backup supervision of Control Technicians.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Allen Bradley and/or Siemens programming experience required.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a production environment implementing process improvements for high speed production equipment with PLC’s, servo drives, motion controls and HMI’s.
- Experience providing technical analysis, feasibility studies and recommendations for controls systems requirements preferred.
- Microsoft Office, SQL Server and Manufacturing Execution System Software.
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Electronics / Electrical Technology.
