Quality Engineer
Location: King of Prussia, Pennsylvania
Perform periodic audits of the Quality System to insure that it is effectively established and maintained in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice regulations.
Duties include:
- Work with Manufacturing, Maintenance, Distribution and the Quality Technical supports to facilitate a team approach to addressing product quality issues.
- Develop and conduct training classes for production personnel to address.
- Perform periodic audits of the quality system to insure that it is effectively established and maintained in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice regulations
- Develop and analyze in-process and finished goods inspection data to identify and resolve problematic processes and to provide trend analysis.
- Participate in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma projects as well as plant initiatives.
The successful candidate will have the following skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science, plus 1-3 years experience in a QA/Manufacturing environment.
- Experience in FDA regulated environment is preferred.
- Strong technical, oral and written communication skills.
- Strong computer and statistical skills as applicable to Quality Control in a manufacturing environment.
