Infrastructure Architect
Location: King of Prussia, Pennsylvania
This position is responsible for providing leadership for the architecture implementation and ongoing development of technologies and services that enable high availability, scalability, high performance and performance management of sophisticated infrastructure.
Duties include:
- Design, develop, implement related Service Level Metrics.

Document related infrastructure strategies and capacity plans, system monitoring, backup and recovery processes.

Support, configure, monitor and optimize system performance to satisfy increasing network traffic demands, growing application complexity and high availability of critical services.

Provide expert technical leadership to staff resources responsible for business systems infrastructure and productivity technologies.

Provide proactive leadership for the ongoing planning, configuration, contingency/backup mechanisms, and hardware to support new and existing products and services that require high availability and high performance.

Travel required.
The successful candidate will have the following skills:
- Minimum 7 years of technical experience.
- MCSE, MCSA and/or Hardware OEM certifications preferred.
- Bachelors Degree Computer Science or similar.
- Cisco CCNA, CCIE.
- Strong Proficiency with: Cisco Networking Architecture and Design; Microsoft Exchange; Microsoft Office Communication Services (OCS) R2; Windows Server 2003, 2008; Clustering, Backups, Upgrades.
- Familiar with Business Continuity/Disaster recovery practices.
- Demonstrated proficiency and familiarity with internetworking (& internet) concepts, Infrastructure and services (e.g. Routing, Switching, TCP/IP, HTTP/s, Frame relay, private line (T3, T1, Fract. T1), MPLS, VPN).
- Working knowledge of leading Performance Management Technologies (Soar Winds, Microsoft Operations Managers, Cisco MARS) and best practices.
- Solid knowledge of Intel based Server hardware, including Windows Server environment (Linus/Unix operating systems knowledge a plus).
- Expert knowledge of Active Directory and related technologies/methodologies.
