Business Analyst/Sales
Location: King of Prussia, Pennsylvania
This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining a detailed understanding of the business processes and associated software applications.
- Develop & maintain a detailed understanding of the business processes and associated software applications with respect to the Sales & Marketing organizations.
- Foster & maintain ongoing internal relationships with Sales & Marketing teams.
- Define business problems & their system solutions including analysis of alternatives and ROI.
- Understand & comply with they Systems Development Life Cycle methodology.
- Lead an active role in the design, testing & implementation phases of a project.
- Participate in development process to analyze internal client requirements, determine fit & customizations, develop proposals, develop cost estimates, and present solutions to internal clients.
Successful candidate will have the following skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in business process area.
- 5 years Business Analyst experience with Sales related systems including Salesforce.com, reporting and portal productions.
- Functional & technical ability in Salesforce.com required.
- Understanding and knowledge/experience of ERP systems as they integrate with sales.
- Knowledge and experience of JD Edwards, specifically E1 is a plus.
- Must be willing to travel domestically up to 40% depending on project status and business needs.
- Solid knowledge of application development concepts, practices, and procedures.
