Safety Engineer |

- A minimum of 3 -5 years experience (preferably in a production environment) in Environmental or Occupational Health/Safety is also required, and a related Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Implement and maintain initiatives that will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local mandates and company policies.
- Maintain appropriate records and reports.
- Assist in the investigation of accidents, formulate corrective action plans and prepare appropriate reports.
- Conduct appropriate specialized programs and procedures.
- Coordinate training programs in compliance with OSHA requirements.
- Assist with Worker's compensation programs and procedures.
- Strong organizational, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
- PC proficiency is a definite must.
