Safety Engineer

A minimum of 3 -5 years experience (preferably in a production environment) in  Environmental or Occupational Health/Safety is also required, and a related Bachelor's degree is preferred. Implement and maintain initiatives that will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local mandates and company policies. Maintain appropriate records and reports. Assist in the investigation of accidents, formulate corrective action plans and prepare appropriate reports. Conduct appropriate specialized programs and procedures. Coordinate training programs in compliance with OSHA requirements. Assist with Worker's compensation programs and procedures. Strong organizational, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills are required. PC proficiency is a definite must. Apply to: professionalpositions@firstquality.com
